You And Me

December 13, 2021

I wanted to kick off 2022 with some thoughts that I believe are on a lot of minds these days. Our inboxes and newsfeeds are filled with stuff we love, but also with lots of stuff we don’t want or need.

There’s so much noise.

As the pandemic continues to morph, twisting and changing; as we continue to lose people we love to this virus, I confess that I have little space in my heart and mind for nonsense and silliness. Always an optimist, I believe we will see the light at the end of this tunnel, but the journey continues to be long.

I am taking 2022 to rethink some of what I do and post. I have some exciting new ideas that will give you what you crave from me-the inside track on how to feel and look your best through what we cook and eat. I want to focus on creating wellness in the kitchen by mastering our understanding of food and its impact.

I don’t know about you, but I am suffering from social media fatigue and when I do engage with it, I want it to enrich me; I don’t want to mindlessly scroll, liking things that aren’t meaningful to me, hoping to feel a bit inspired…or even mildly entertained.

So I’ll be stepping back a bit from social. Oh, you’ll still see posts and find yummy recipes on this page, but not so often. You can always find what you’re looking for on my website; you can contact me through my site if you have questions; you can sign up for my free, weekly e newsletter as the best way to stay up to date on what I am doing (and we don’t send you unnecessary stuff to clog your inbox, nor do we sell your info…so you can relax and enjoy the cool info we send).

You just won’t hear from me as often on this page or on Instagram and Twitter. And I sure as heck won’t be TikTok-ing any time soon.

You know that for me, my life is about my mission of helping people make the best food choices for themselves and those they love best. You also know that I am happiest in the kitchen, no phone around; just my food and me, developing recipes to share; creating life.

You’ll still find me on TV…a new season of Christina Cooks begins this month on national public television stations everywhere. And there’s some exciting news coming on that front in 2022 as well. But for now, I want to contribute to more peace and less noise; quality over quantity, life over social media.

As I said, I won’t be totally gone, but you’ll hear a bit…less…from me for now.

I hope your 2022 is safe, healthy and social (and I don’t mean media…).
