Fall in Love with Verona, Bologna and Lake Garda
May 4, 2027 to May 14, 2027

This very exclusive Italian holiday will take us to Verona, Bologna and Lake Garda, along with day trips to some amazing villages in the Veneto region, as well as a day trip to Milan.
Verona, is famous for being the setting of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. A 14th-century residence with a tiny balcony overlooking a courtyard is said to be Juliet’s house.
Bologna is the lively, historic capital of the Emilia-Romagna region. Its Piazza Maggiore is a sprawling plaza lined with arched colonnades, cafes and medieval and Renaissance structures, including the Fountain of Neptune and the Basilica di San Petronio. Among the city’s many medieval towers are the Two Towers, leaning Asinelli and Garisenda.
We’ll also spend a day visiting, and taking the ferry to some of the most beautiful villages in Lake Garda…Sirmione, with its castle and Roman ruins, Limone sul Garda, famous for its lemon groves and colorful houses, and Malcesine, featuring a medieval castle and Mount Baldo views, are consistently ranked as top contenders for beauty on Lake Garda, offering unique charm, history, and stunning scenery
Sun-Drenched Puglia and Sicily
May 23, 2027 to June 5, 2027

Tucked away on the east coast of Southern Italy, Puglia is a region known as the country’s ‘heel of the boot’.
Puglia is renowned as one of Italy’s most beautiful areas, which says a lot considering how gorgeous the rest of the country is. With a relaxed and laid-back vibe, Puglia is scattered with charming seaside villages, fascinating towns, and sun-bleached sand beaches.
We’ll embrace the slow life and spend our first four days discovering crumbling old architecture, indulging in long leisurely lunches, and weather permitting, possibly dipping into the clear blue sea (so pack your bathing suit) as we explore all that Puglia has to offer.
We’ll learn the art of making orrechiette and focaccia, the traditional specialties of Bari. We’ll visit the Trulli town of Alberobello, the seaside town of Polignano a Mare, the bread-baking village of Altamura, the ancient city of Matera, and quaint village of Locorotondo. And we’ll enjoy oil and wine tastings along the way.
And then it’s off to Sicily where we’ll be spending six days at Villa Petrantica outside the ancient city Ragusa Ibla. This wonderful property offers a panoramic sea view and is nestled on 4 hectres of land, dotted with plants and gardens. It’s carefully furnished in an ancient/modern style with each suite named after an important Sicilian event in history or cinema and hosts a large infinity pool.
This gorgeous property will be our exclusive home for the week, with plenty of time to enjoy its charms, as well as savor evening meals prepared by Christina and her co-chef and sidekick, Patrick Verre, a Michelin starred chef who now travels the world cooking and creating.
Our day trips may take us to: the Baroque cities of Noto, Ragusa Ibla, and Modica, known for its amazing chocolate; the seaside town of Taormina, known as the Amalfi Coast of Sicily; the archeological park at Syracuse; the market in Ortigia; and we’ll venture to Mount Etna, one of the world’s most active volcanoes, just to name a few of the treats we have in store. And we’ll enjoy amazing wine and olive oil tastings at local vineyards and groves.

Umbria…The Green Heart of Italy
Including 3 Days in Rome
September 17, 2027 to Tuesday, September 28, 2027

A perfect destination for those seeking a more authentic Italian experience away from large crowds. We’ll visit the many hill towns and medieval villages that make Umbria so very special, including: Assisi; Orvieto; Spello; Spoleto; Todi; Gubbio; Montefalco; and the capital of the region, Perugia.
Umbria is an Italian region bordering Tuscany, Lazio and Le Marche. Often called the country’s green heart, it’s known for its medieval hill towns, dense forests and local cuisine, particularly foraged truffles and wines. Hilltop Perugia, the regional capital, is the site of medieval Palazzo dei Priori, housing the Galleria Nazionale dell’Umbria art museum. Pedestrianized Corso Vannucci is the focus of city life. Food and wine are as much a part of Umbria’s charm as its scenery and history.
Imagine wandering ancient streets in quaint medieval villages, enjoying a leisurely coffee in the piazza. Lunch of local delicacies is commonplace…and not in a hurry. Imagine…just imagine…no crowds; no stress; just our little group surrounded by the beauty that is the green heart of Italy.
