Regenics…a Medical Wellness Company
It’s no secret that I am all about food and natural healing. I am of the mind that wellness begins in the kitchen and that Mother Nature is our best teacher.
I also live in the real world and understand that sometimes, we just need help.
I’m writing today about Semaglutide. You may know it as Ozempic or Wegovy.
Now hold on. Take a breath and stay with me.
I’m writing about this because it’s in the news; people are talking about it; there’s a lot of rumor and misinformation out there…and well, people ask me about it. In order to understand what I am talking about and in order to give you the best possible information, I had to study and ask questions.
I got the answers I expected when I spoke to experts. I discovered some new things too. For instance, I didn’t know that these medications are not necessarily helpful without a diet and lifestyle change. If you think you can take one of these drugs and still enjoy ‘feasts’ at fast food joints or continue down the yellow brick road of ultra-processed foods, you’ll need to think again.
The latest news reveals that some insurance companies are considering not covering the costs of these medications without a modification of diet and lifestyle.
I am of the deep and profound belief that a vast majority of our day-to-day conditions and wellness comes from what we choose to eat (and not eat) and how…and if…we decide to move our bodies.
I am also of the deep and profound belief that we are all different and that not all of us can be willowy and lithe. Some of us are heartier (I am looking in the mirror) even though we are fit and healthy.
I am also of the mind that sometimes we just need help from professionals to find our way to our ideal weight for our own personal wellness.
Which brings me to Semaglutide and Regenics.
Here is what I know as fact, not rumor.
Originally designed to treat Type 2 diabetes, Semaglutide (also known as Ozempic or Wegovy) is also an FDA-approved injectable glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) agonist that is administered once weekly to help with long-term weight management. It works by effectively reducing appetite, increasing portion control management which include reducing your food cravings, especially sugars. This all helps control blood sugar levels which can help lose body fat and help reduce overall weight (and keep it off.) Semaglutide should be used with a reduced calorie meal plan and increased physical activity. When combined with proper diet and exercise Semaglutide also supports improved heart health and healthy blood pressure. In clinical trials, patients on semaglutide lost an average of 15% of their body weight.
Experts say that for most people, Semaglutide is generally safe when taken as directed for weight loss. In clinical trials, the most common side effects were mild. The most reported side effect was nausea.
Semaglutide has some other issues because it slows digestion, so it may affect the way other medications are absorbed (also food; hence the weight loss). When taken with insulin or sulfonylureas, it could increase the risk of hypoglycemia so you must be mindful.
Oh boy, right?
There are other side effects too, from constipation to diarrhea to pancreatitis on a more serious level. Most side effects are said to calm down after a few doses, but they do exist.
Oh boy, right?
So why am I even writing about this? Why would a pharmaceutical even be something about which I write? Because, Grasshopper, I am not close-minded; nor do I have tunnel vision.
Do I think that most people can do what it takes to achieve their healthy weight without pharmaceuticals? Yes, I do. Do I also think that there are people who can’t seem to do that and need additional support to get them on their path to wellness? Yes, I do. In concert with a healthy diet and proper exercise, you can find your way to the healthiest you.
I would rather you hear it from me; knowing I did the research needed to check this out; listened to all the voices talking about this and give you the facts. The choice would then be yours to decide if you need this support.
Oh and Regenics is much more than just weight loss support. They offer a variety of incredible products, services and supplements, as well as free medical consultations to help you become your healthiest. Not to mention expedited door-to-door shipping, one-time or subscription.
Look, I think that supplementing a healthy diet and lifestyle with verified vitamins, minerals and other support systems are just what we need right now. With depleted soil resulting in food not as nutrient-dense as we would like; with stress robbing us of vital sleep meaning that our bodies can’t repair; with pollution destroying our air and water quality, we need support in the form of supplements…in my view.
My research has shown that Regenics is a fantastic company with facts and truth backing up their product claims, and experts always available to help you make the best choices for you.
I am personally excited to take advantage of their Vitamin B-12, as you all know I am a devoted fan and since I am more…mature, checking out their anti-aging products. Use this link for 10% off your first order of products or services (or enter ChristinaCooks at checkout).
