Watercresss Salad

Simple, elegant and great for your skin, this salad looks gorgeous, but not nearly as gorgeous as you will as it helps you put your best face forward. Watercress is one of the most nutrient-dense foods we can enjoy and its delicate bitterness helps our liver do its job, leaving us looking fresh.

Makes 2-3 servings

Ingredient List:

  • 1 small bunch watercress, washed well, torn into small pieces
  • 1 tangerine, peeled and sectioned
  • Juice of 1 tangerine or ½ fresh lemon
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Cracked black pepper

Step By Step Instructions:

Combine watercress with fruit and dress lightly with olive oil, juice and salt and pepper to taste. Toss gently and serve at room temp or chilled.

Cook’s Tip: You can vary the fruit with the seasons and enjoy this salad all year long.
