Globally, healthcare has always been predominantly focused on “sick care,” rather than health promotion and prevention.
COVID-19 has amplified the urgency and importance of health promotion and disease prevention, increasing the recognition on why staying healthy and keeping diseases at bay is critical. Health promotion is even more important now; to combat COVID-19 and to better respond to the growing non-COVID “pandemic;” the rise of non-communicable diseases, like heart disease, diabetes and cancer.
We’ll address your concerns and cook a luscious feast to keep us metabolically fit to fight disease…now and in the future.
