Love the Skin You’re In, Baby!

August 23, 2016

Women spend a staggering $426 billion on beauty products each year:  shampoo, conditioner, body wash, dry shampoo, face wash, facial scrubs, tea tree oil, shaving cream, razors, toothbrushes, whitening toothpastes, serums, body lotion, face lotion, primers and toners.

When it comes to beauty and appearance maintenance, it can feel like there’s no limit to how much we will spend. There’s always a new miracle product that promises us clear skin and eternal youth.

Often we feel we are a “work in progress,” that can be improved upon yet again if we just buy the next product…and the next…and the next. There’s also a huge financial toll. We can spend hundreds of dollars a month on products and treatments to get closer to the vision of ourselves in our heads.

I’m just like every other woman when it comes to my skin and how I am aging. I’m no kid anymore, but I want clear skin that looks youthful for as long as I can possibly have it. I know that my skin’s best friend is the food I cook and eat. I also refuse to use chemicals on my skin because of their impact on my health and the planet. And let’s not forget how disruptive chemicals in skincare can be to our endocrine systems and hormonal balance!

So…I am constantly on alert for great…natural…skincare that doesn’t simulate healthy skin, but instead, nourishes my skin to be its best.

I have used some great products as a result of my skin obsession and even sold some of them on my site.

Recently, a company called Sanctum came to my attention so I did what I always do. I did some research. I checked them out. I checked their ingredients. I checked their prices.

And then I tried their products because I will never get behind any product that I have not tried and loved…or that meets my standard for ingredients…and reasonable pricing so your great skin won’t break the bank.

I fell in love with the entire line. The eye balm leaves my eyes looking refreshed and awake. The day and night moisturizers feed my skin so it’s supple and plump (the only place we want to be plump, am I right?). From the cleansers to deodorant, the men’s no-fuss grooming products (from shave products to skincare and deodorant because our men like naturally great skin too), the travel packs and starter kits, I haven’t come across one product that did not leave my skin looking and feeling healthier and fresher.

You have to try these completely delicious products. You’ll find something you love. Seriously, try them and let me know what you think.
