The Root of It All

With cooler weather as the order of the day, we look to our food and cooking styles as our first line of defense against the harshness of cold days. And with the holiday season soon upon us, we will need strength and stamina to get through it. Root veggies are not only sweet and warming to the body, but they help us to feel grounded and centered and who doesn’t need that?

As the days continue to cool, our bodies struggle to adjust to this new weather pattern. Will you be sitting on the couch cloaked in a blanket (already?) shivering in the cold or will you manage the shift in weather with grace and comfort?

Cookies to Make You Happy... and Healthy... This Holiday Season

It’s that time of year. The air is crisp and cold. We’ve packed away the flip flops for boots and sweaters. The lights are untangled and ready to adorn the tree, windows and doorways, warming our hearts and our homes, welcoming everyone to celebrate with us. The holiday season is here. And with it, the joy of cookies!
