Believe me when I tell you that you can really taste the apples
in Martinelli's apple juice and cider. That's because they are made only from
U.S.-grown, fresh apples. They contain absolutely no concentrates, no added
water, no preservatives, no sweeteners, and no additives of any kind. Most
other apple juice sold in the U.S. contains reconstituted imported concentrate.
Martinelli's uses a balanced blend of the finest apple varieties, including
the tart-sweet Newtown Pippin, a flavorful variety that has flourished under
the cool coastal growing conditions of California's Pajaro Valley since the
1800's.
In Martinelli's Gold Medal® process, apples are first selected and blended
together for balanced natural sweetness and acidity, then thoroughly washed.
Any below-standard apples are sorted out by hand and trimmed or discarded.
Next, by a special process, the juice is extracted and clarified to retain
the natural fresh apple flavor. At every step the most sophisticated quality
control methods are applied…and are reflected in the superior taste
of its juice and cider!
