Shiitake Tea

Want to rid the body of tension? Break down stagnated energy in the body? Relax your tight lower back? Soften the dark circles under your eyes? Have some of this delicious tea 2-3 times a week for a couple of weeks and you will feel renewed!

Ingredients
1 cup water
1 dried shiitake mushroom
splash soy sauce

Directions 
Place mushroom in water, soaking until soft, about 20 minutes. (It can soak longer, even overnight.)  Remove mushroom, reserving the soaking water. Remove stem and mince cap; return to soaking water. Bring to boil, reduce and simmer for 15 minutes. Season with soy sauce and simmer 1 minute. Drink and eat while hot.  

Makes 1 serving
