This past week, in celebration of Valentine's day, I posted a daily recipe for heart health. Thanks to everyone who sent me their comments and feedback. I'm so glad you enjoyed them! Here they all are, in one place, for future meal-planning.

If Life is a Bowl of Cherries, Why Do We Feel Like the Pits? - By Christina Pirello
The New Year is well on its way to being just another year and many of us still feel ‘hung over’ from the holidays: too much indulging, too little sleep and exercise have taken their toll on our bodies. By now many people's resolutions to get fit and healthy have fallen to the wayside. It’s time to get back on track (or on track in the first place), stay warm in the cold weather (lots of shivery days ahead) and energize our lives once and for all. Read more
Comments (0)Winter Eating Ain't What It Used to Be - by Frances Abrams
I think I’ve become a food snob. I know that seasonal eating is the preferable way to eat, but now that I’m living in Florida I only eat the freshest, organic produce. Comments (0)Pecan Pie
A good pecan pie is just the best thing ever. But it’s usually loaded with sugar and calories, making it less than desirable when you are eating a healthy diet, even as an indulgence. Well, this version is still an indulgence, but there’s no simple sugar and it’s truly delicious.

Comments (0)Tempeh Reuben
The key to a good reuben is the thousand island dressing, in my view anyway. A traditional reuben is loaded with meat and cheese, but it’s really the oozy dressing we love so much . . . in this vegan version, you’ll whip up a creamy dressing in no time with none of the stuff in the bottled versions that you might not want. Comments (0)Resolutions Re-boot
You have two choices, as I see it. This can be the year you get it together and get fit, healthy and vital. Or it can be another year of broken resolutions, self-loathing and squeezing into clothes that don’t fit…and of being uncomfortable in your own skin…because you know, deep down where only the truth resides…that you are not doing what you need to do to maintain your health.
